Oh, the wonders of Ammens powder. So much nicer than other medicated powders on the market. So nice smelling and fresh. Knocks those pesky rashes right out fast. And hard to find now. I was so happy to find it on Amazon, and I ordered four -- two for me and two for a neighbor who also loves it. We can no longer find it at Wal-Mart. Untreated, the condition is certainly uncomfortable and using some other powders actually makes it worse than if left untreated! This is the best powder I know of and I will go to the ends of the earth to get it. It goes on silky smooth, soothes my skin immediately, and lasts all day. Also, it has a very light, clean scent that is neither masculine nor feminine and the scent goes away pretty quickly. I really feel this is a great all purpose powder, but certainly, if you have a skin problem, BUY this powder! It will help you. I am now almost 40....my mom, who is Chinese, is always touting herbal stuff for my bad skin but nothing has ever really done anything to help. The past two years have been incredibly rough for my eczema. Not sure what triggered it but went to numerous dermatologists, spent buko bucks on a naturopath and nada. Just decided to try this cream out on Monday, five days ago now and I don't know how or what or why but it is working for me. My oozing nipples ( sorry, tmi ) have dried up, I don't need to wear my boxing gloves or handcuffs to sleep to stop my night itching, and the rashes all over my body are at "bay". Like I said, not sure why but the ingredients aren't crazy and it only costs 3 bucks. I'm a fan. This is how I have been using it...after bathing, blot dry and apply to all my areas where rashes are and then I use Cetaphil cream on top of it. At night, before I go to bed, I reapply the 999 all over the areas of rash again... Problem: I do a full shaving about twice a week in the pubic area. Suddenly one day I had a huge ugly red bump in between my legs with a few small bumps around it. I had never experienced this in my 7 years of shaving down thereand had a minor freak out. Worried I had some sort of disease, I hit the internet before deciding if I should call a doctor. Luckily, I little research lead me to self-diagnose myself with an ingrown hair; shaving over the bump lead to roughness and irritated the surrounding skin. Research: I researched how to take care of this problem. I was not about to go poking around down there with a needle to let the ingrown hair out. Exfoliating and a hot compress did nothing.
